Mom's breeding Chica with some poodle named Tucker... I think I'm going to avoid the scene whilst he is here ha. It might get pretty graphic.

I'm accomplishing a lot lately. Today the second of three very-much-needed days off, so I am trying to get all the things done that I'm too tired to do after work during the week! This morning I have Mom rides to and from Canadian Tire because she wanted to get her car checked (brakes were squeaking). They called her back and gave her a nice estimate of close to $1000 to fix front and back brakes - based on what we later found out to be some pretty hearty lies as the the condition of them. This was with their 20% off discount too, how pathetic. Dad referred to them as "scam artists" once he had a look at the situation and saw that it wasn't even close to as bad as they said it was. They said the front brake pads had worn down so much that they'd been scraping on the metal and had actually scraped off a layer of the metal on the rotors, making the rotors actually unusable. Dad showed me the front brakes and how there was still pad left on the brakes (granted, not much) and that the rotors were perfectly fine. .... anyway I imagine nobody actually cares, I can't believe I just wrote so much on that.

Moving on...

Mom's ordering Panago, which is fairly exciting.

Anyhow the rest of my day was taken up with making cinnamon buns which turned out to be freaking amazing and they're already all gone. Out of 24, a dozen went to the family of the man who fixed my car for the price of parts, 3 are being shipped out to my grandparents when I go there this evening, and the rest have been eaten already by my family. I'll have to get practiced at making them, they obviously make wonderful gifts. It's too bad they take so much time... they have to mix, then sit for an hour, make the rolls, sit for half an hour, bake for half an hour, then sit for another 15 minutes! All that to be consumed in the next hour by hungry people, not even getting the chance to cool off completely. I guess they are better that way.

After this Panago, I'm heading to my grandparents' place to make some very belated grad thank-you cards. What with all my traveling and then not having a vehicle, then full-time working this is the first chance I've gotten to do them so they're getting done.

Since paying for my car's repairs, I am now completely broke. I have enough to get me enough gas until next pay day. This is going to be my first ever full-time pay cheque and I'm completely stoked about it haha.

Email me sometime you guys, I feel completely out of touch with everyone.
