I'm rather displeased because my half-written blog post of a few days ago has been eliminated from my post list. To sum it up, I was ranting about song lyrics and such. If I ever get in the mood I'll type it up again some time.
I heard only a percentage of an announcement today at lunch. Among other notices, the voice of revelation dictated "in room 203... and there will be a Writers' Workshop meeting in roo- kkssshhf***nsh* -even and Socretes Cafe in room 116." So that was extremely convenient. The words were punctuated by some bucket-hatted guy with white sunglasses swearing and some static over the speakers as I walked downstairs and joined the noisy crowd. I had signed up for this writers' club last week and wanted to be there for the first meeting, naturally. So I decided I'd try to find out the information, the hearing of which, Mr. Hockey Hair had so kindly obstructed.
I travelled slowly to the next set of stairs and headed up to the office where the announcements are made, with the idea that whoever had made made the speech would still be there and I could ask. Conveniently there was a line of 10 people waiting for the office, which almost never happens. I had heard "-even" which allowed me to make an educated guess that it was in either room 107 or 111. I looked in all the English room windows but the only teacher I found were Mrs. Young talking to a kid in a striped shirt who was eating lunch from a Tupperware container. I approached the room and stood quietly in the doorway, smiled at her, and waited for her to stop talking about dates of sport tournaments so I could ask a brief question. She completely ignored me apart from staring directly, albeit oddly, into my eyes. Obviously she had seen me there and after waiting and waiting I was a little put off. I stood there for a good 7 or 8 minutes and still got no reaction so I gave up, making a point of acting out an audible frustrated sigh and a slight stomp or two as I abruptly left.
Anyway I gave up on finding out where the meeting was and proceded to the lighthouse room. I found Nora and Janine there and Kaiden. The rest of lunch I helped Kaiden with his Spanish stuff. I just got into entre class ; I spent the entirety of C block reading the book that Corban gave me... I love the humor. It's the kind of humor that actually makes me physically laugh. Like not just a mental twinge of mirth, but an actual sputter or hilarity.
I'm blogging in class. It's a nice break every day. No more real work after A-block because Spanish is easy and Entre is spent doing things like this. I am banned from Twitter and Facebook unfortunately. Daek joined Twitter. xD
I'm going to mail this book to you Demi. When you're finished, mail it to Fae.
Fae; I never have time to read your posts. I think I'll read some on my phone when work is slow tonight.
Sunshine; I want and Etch-a-Sketch. I love your blog <3
