The other day:

I got a tablet from Mom for being a nerd.

I was jealous of the grads but stoked for grade 12 at the same time


Today:

I spent the morning with mom going around to various health care providers. This was an unusual thing for me as I normally avoid such people at all costs.

First I went to the dentist for my braces, and was told I have to wear not two but four elastics in my mouth every day. Farewell, joys of talking normally, singing, and eating. I think everyone will be glad that I have to shut up for a while.

Second I went to the doctor because I've been sick for ages and was told that I must have either a sinus infection, or that he has no idea what it is.

I went to get a chest X-Ray and had to get out of my shirts and bra and put on a hideous powder blue smock thing and go out to the waiting area. So I'm standing because all the chairs are full and there's this old lady, obviously hard of hearing, who asks her husband "Dear, who's standing over there?" He leaned over to see around the wall, and then replied very loudly, "Oh just a lovely young lady, we don't know her." If that wasn't awkward enough, when I finally decided to sit down, a guy from my aunty's classroom who has a crush on me decided that was a fine time to come in with a broken arm. How... nice! I'm sitting there with no bra, in an ugly smock, reading the only magazine available, (an old lady's "recapture your youth" mag) and guy next to me is sitting there glancing at me. Yes, nice indeed.

The X-ray took approximately a minute and twenty-six seconds.

Got stressed out at an intersection because mom kept changing her mind on where I should be going and because the brakes were shot and the signal light out.

Got brake shoes for mom's van, and kicked the signal light to make it work again.

Called Zoki and chatted for almost an hour which was pretty fun.

Went to work, mom went shopping. I suddenly could barely hear and felt really sick, and ended up coming home with mom when she finished her shopping.

I tried out my tablet and discovered I've lost most of my artistic talent and only have the ability to handwrite nicely now.

Mom just brought me soup :D

I've been in my bed since about 6:30, and now it's 11:30... I'm gonna move my hiney now.
