I'm going to try this fantastic new option that Blogger provides: BOXING. Fae, I continue to be inspired by you.

OH YES!! I figured it out. Zoki mislead me into thinking that she knew exactly how to do it but instead I had to figure it out myself.

2. bon bon (use your nasal cavity to enunciate this pairing of words ((mots)))

3. bon jovi

4. j'apprende les mots nouveux en francais maintenant :D échouer = to fail

Alright party's over, back to business...

Stone Bells

I finished my little swim out in the clear water of the lake and let myself drift back to the rocky shore. The shore is a kaleidoscope of mixed colour, and yet, somehow, from a distance it appears to be a dull shade of blue-grey. It reminds me of some select people I know. Perhaps they are colourful and interesting to those once you get to know them, but until that point they seem grey and not worth being in your mind's photo album.

Deciding not to go and join my towel in laying on the rocks, I relaxed and allowed myself to sway back and forth in the shalow water. I eyed my sandals, which were settled directly on the border where dry gravel met the watered stones that the waves had pushed into a piled line along the shore. A boat passed by us, sending a series of larger waves towards me. I was pulled slightly back and then pushed forward by each as they reached me, like a piece of rope in a game of tug-of-war.

The shouts of my friends, whom I had abandoned for the moment, seemed to suddenly hush and I could hear other sounds. I heard the crashing of water against the concrete wall set in the water near us, and the cries of seagulls and the distant train down the track. The last of the large waves gently pushed a new team of small stones to the piled borderline on the shore. I smiled at the tinkling music of the retreating stones being pulled back into the water, singing as they fell and slid across the larger rocks beneath them.
