I will describe a few more idiots that I had the pleasure of meeting at Safeway, but first I have a small rant to get out as well as my feelings of the day:
Physically, I have a headache from coughing so much, therefore I feel moderately sick.
Also, I feel like I'm looking down from above and watching a war's beginnings and there's nothing I can do to stop it. This world is starting to fall apart at the seams. The first seam that's coming undone is social roles in society and new definitions of things, the liquification of things that have been very solid for the thousands of years man has been on earth. There is the war between homophobic and homosexual that we all have
definitely seen by now. In our school there are war posters - propaganda - telling us to join the side of the homosexuals and that homophobia is the new Hitler.
"Homosexuality is NOT a sickness." "Homosexuality knows no borders..." "Homophobia, becoming more subtle..."
My own opinions aside, that's not cool. Straight people and homophobics don't post big posters trying to defend themselves. I personally don't think those who are against gay marriage should be considered barbarians for not wanting to accept something so unnatural. If you're gonna be gay, go for it, but please don't stick posters up and have parades to tell us about it. It seems we are now redefining right and wrong. Suddenly nothing is black or white, there are only shades of grey, and I just don't see how our world can stand on sand instead of rock. We need solidity to keep our society strong and free of corruption.
Literally-speaking, we are looking at a potential bloody war. North Korea's making atomic bombs to "protect" their country, the UN has put trading sanctions on them, and their ships are subject to being searched if found in any UN-patrolled waters. We'd better keep our priorities straight because we never know what's going to happen in the next hour, day, or week. For all we know the famous bomb names recorded in history will be Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Ottawa.
