I feel exhausted, but, although I am sick and very tired of being so, I feel happy because there is only a week left until summer.

School brings so much stress that I firmly believe most of it isn't worth the trouble. I try hard in an attempt to earn awards which sometimes come with money which I could use toward - get this - MORE school. I think I'll be a lot more motivated in my time in university because I know that education will help me to get a stable career. My socials class now, however, is useless to me but I try to get good marks so that my overall average will stay high. It's all so pointless.

In spite of all this, I am happy. Summer has taken hold finally and we're getting some very favorable weather. The thing with there being no mountains right beside us is that the sky is so much bigger and we see the sun far longer every day. Sunny days really boost my mood, it's nice.
