If I were a super hero... I'm sure my theme song would be LA LA LA LAAA!
...
Just because I'm original like that. Da da da daa is way over rated. It's like naming your girl Ethel and your boy Orville or something. It's like OMGOSH THAT'S SWEET for the first... century and then after that it gets pretty old.

anyway...

if I were a super hero, I would like to have the power to make people believe in anything with just a couple of words. Those choice few words, artfully chosen and powerfully laid on the victim's ears would be able to change their opinions, change their views on a situation, and place in their minds a picture. Sometimes I wish I could make people see the truth. I want to show them the whole picture.

Oh what I would give for that power... and to think there are some real people who do indeed posess such a skill. Hitler was one. He, by instilling in his subjects a racial, prejudiced mind, and the passion to kill, quite nearly took over the world. On the other hand, Terry Fox inspired hundreds of thousands of people and showed them how to care, through his actions and his words. Even those beautiful people in our every-day lives that come up in our minds whenever we think "good," or "wise," have that same power. It is those people who can tell us something and we will believe it because we trust and believe in them. That's the way I'd like to be.

Oh what I would give to be the inspiration in someone's life... to be able to use words and actions combined to leave a striking impression of good.

It's unfortunate when this happens on the negative side of oneself. One lets something slip, unexpectedly makes a very unwise choice, and it leaves a person close to them shattered to see it happen.

But I think a regret is merely an arrow to a lesson that one hasn't learned yet.

...So, Fae, I've made some decisions too.

1. I will not regret.
2. I will find some sort of lesson in every difficult experience.
3. I will smile... even when I don't feel like it.
4. I'll do what I feel is right not what someone else thinks I should do.
5. I'll listen to only the voices that matter.
