Thank You

There’s something about a simple smile,
That lifts my heart from floor to sky,
Calms my restless mind for a while,
Helps me see clearly, and forget to cry.

Thank you for your smile.

The affection in a simple touch,
Can make my day in a moment,
A minute ago I was hurting so much,
But an angel’s touch, to me, was sent.

Thank you for your touch.

Even when I want to stop and sit down,
I get up and go for your sake.
My motivation; you’re a cure for a frown,
The sugar in the tea, the icing on the cake.

Thank you for being there.

I’m forever feeling like I fail,
At being there when you need me to be.
I wanna be who you walk with on life’s trail.
I’m sorry that I’m so often busy.

Thank you for your patience.

The promise I make you here, today,
Is that I’ll always keep in mind,
That I have a huge debt to repay.
